
Taste of Place is Adventure Canada's partnership program that aims to connect gourmet organizations and their followers by promoting cuisine of the places Adventure Canada travels to. Adventure Canada were looking to create a natural feel and look of the logo however I was given complete liberty in which direction I wanted to push.
About the mark I wanted to incorporate the elements that are quintessential to Taste of Place and Adventure Canada. Boundless in both nature exploration and in food. I included fish and waves to represent the sea; a bee, fields and grains for the land; all of which are captured in a circular shape of the planet earth.

There was a lot of research involved while I was working on this project. I was amazed at the beauty and richness of the incredible places that Adventure Canada goes to and I wanted to capture said richness in the logo mark. I'm pleased with the finished product, well balanced and full of life. Below are some of the twists and turns I took before reaching the final destination.
